Carey is a former fashion model. She's 5'10" tall and was very sought-after by the high-end American fashion designers like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, etc. Her father was the world-renowned geologist, who was in 1979 named Scientist of the Year from the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists.
